Philip W. Cobb
With 30 years of construction and development experience, Phil was most recently responsible for directing all Duke Construction operations in Georgia and Florida including Pre-Construction Services, Project Management, Field Operations, Tenant Finish, and Duke Construction Services. While in his various roles with Duke, Phil managed the construction of more than 15 million square feet of office and industrial construction. Prior to Duke’s purchase of the Weeks Corporation, Phil was Senior Vice President of Weeks Construction, responsible for all day-to-day operations of a $350,000,000 general contractor. Phil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industry from Georgia Southern University. He is a member of the Georgia Southern University Building Construction Advisory Board, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia and the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia. Several of his significant projects include the following:- Chase Manhattan, Treasury Division Campus in Tampa, Florida 450,000 SF of Class “A” office buildings
- Atlanta Precision Molding, Multiple projects in Atlanta, California & Belgium 400,000 SF
- Huntcrest Office Complex, Atlanta, Georgia 325,000 SF of Class “A” office buildings
- Lithonia Lighting Corporate Campus, Conyers, Georgia 400,000 SF
- Solectron Corp., Atlanta, Georgia 375,000 SF of office, warehouse and production space
- Sugarloaf, Atlanta, Georgia 10 buildings, both, office and office warehouse, totaling 1,080,000 SF
- Camp Creek Business Center, Atlanta, Georgia Infrastructure for a 400-acre park, plus design and development of a 600,000 SF building for Clorox
